3. Mixing bowls (various sizes)
At least one large bowl and a couple of medium ones for easy prep and clean workflow.
4. Whisk
Ideal for combining dry ingredients, emulsifying batters, and adding air without overmixing.
5. Silicone spatula
Great for folding batters, scraping bowls clean, and minimizing waste.
6. Hand mixer or stand mixer
Essential for creaming butter and sugar, whipping cream, and making smooth batters.
7. Baking sheets (rimmed)
Perfect for cookies, tray bakes, and roasting nuts or fruit for baking.
8. Quality cake tins & loaf pans
A few sturdy, well-made pans go a long way—round cake tins and a loaf pan cover most recipes.
9. Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
Prevents sticking, promotes even baking, and makes cleanup effortless.
10. Cooling rack
Allows baked goods to cool properly without becoming soggy.
11. Fine mesh sieve
For sifting flour, cocoa, and icing sugar—and achieving lighter textures.
12. Offset spatula or palette knife
